about a sitcom pilot for the WB that was not picked up but . It became failry popular, and is now being put . It’s a sitcom about making a sitcom, and looks like a pretty standard (read: not funny) fare, but the path to production is certainly interesting. Will YouTube be the new proving ground for television pilots?

I’m surprised about all the different ways people are utilizing YouTube. In fact, I actually happened to catch a segment on this very subject the other day on CNN. Some people are filmiing things from Iraq in an attempt to evoke sympathy, while others are being “discovered” by places like animation studios and television networks.
